Fat Unicorn Candles
One fateful winter day a wood-wick candle was brought home. As the wick was sparked, so too was a previously unknown obsession with candlemaking.
Could we make our own candles?
Could we make wooden wicks that light consistently and also give that lovely crackle sound that makes them so special?
Could we source materials for these candles from within Canada?
Could we give them irreverent names and make the scents we always wished we could find?
The answer to all of these, it turns out, is YES!
And so, Fat Unicorn Candles was born!
Made in the Maritimes
Fat Unicorn Candles are hand-poured in our studio in PEI, proudly using materials 100% sourced from Canadian suppliers.
We use an all-natural blend of coconut/soy wax and beeswax from maritime bees, and our homemade wooden wicks give a cheery, soft crackling sound as the candle burns.

Important Safety Information
Burn candles on a heat-resistant surface.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Handle with caution when lit! (Since open flames are, you know, hot. Point is, the jar may get too hot to safely hold!)
Never leave a lit candle unattended. If unlit, this candle is responsible enough to not get into trouble on its own.
Keep open flames away from children, pets, flammable items and surfaces, adults who act like children, irresponsible gnomes, and dark fey. Well, any fey, really.
