Perhaps the cheekiest of the magical equines, horseflies are tiny and fast, and come in as many colours as you can imagine.

There are other fast creatures in Myrinisia who serve as news messengers, and social creatures who share gossip, but the horsefly speedily spreads news AND gossip with a healthy serving of their own personal opinions on any given matter. When you see a horsefly coming you know that there’s about to be some “tea” spilled. Sharp of wit and even sharper of tongue, a horsefly can make a great companion but beware, they do sometimes bite!
