It is said that all love in the universe originates in the hearts of baby lovebugs. Their innocent and honest affection for everything around them makes them actually glow, spreading to everything they touch (and they are big huggers). As they grow, lovebugs develop a bit of a shell and their glow is directed more toward their family. It is believed that the protection and nurturing from lovebug parents is what makes the little ones glow so bright.
